concert reflect

The concert was amazing with the lights and smoke machine I really enjoyed it I did my own thing with Jono cause Jayden quit at the last minute and i had to run into the crowd it was fun and I will really miss some the students at
Paroa school.

week reflect

On Monday there was 7.8 earthquake it was a shaky night in grey it definitely woke me up and mum the rest slept through it we woke up and just in the lounge we watched a movie my is pretty used to earthquakes it wasn't a big deal  but we went to sleep after that and yeah.This week was a really smooth and fun week I have gotten a lot done the past few days I have wrote a script for Christmas concert and yeah it has a success full week.

my debate journey

 We just had our 6th class- debate and it was better than some of the ones in the past. We are getting better! We had a really good time; it got really serious in the crossfires but we got through it. In my debate, I didn't have that much work so I had to improvise. I made a good argument and I am proud of myself and also my team. I am also so proud Connor, he was really confident in this debate and he didn't even use his computer so that is a big step up for him. I was feeling really nervous because I didn't think I would  have enough work but I did...luckily.

Apart from me being nervous, it was really fun and I am so proud of the people who were in my team and also the other team who competed against us. The opposition had  a good time too. I can't wait for the next debate bring it on!!!                                                                                                                          

4th trip of the year 8 challenge SKING

On Tuesday the year 8 class went on an awesome ski trip to temple basin it was an hour drive to get to the mountain  we were all super pumped I couldn't stop talking about how cool it would be to do some jumps and get on the powder. We got to the goods lift put all of our gear and food and stuff on the goods lift and   went up into the air on the goods lift we went to the car park jumped out of the cars and looked at the 50-minute walk up  fun I thought to myself. We started up the mountain we go half way and the snow fight           began George,Isaac, and I went to a look out thing where no one could get us  then we sat down and ate lollies for ten minutes then we were off again we got to the top unpacked had lunch and fitted our boots and skis i learnt how to turn  I got pretty high on the mountain I did a lot of jumps and crashes it was one of the best times of my life.

week 5 reflect

on Monday we started our speeches and some people got them finished I didn't because i kept changing my topics I finally got it finished and on cue cards we played basketball in the new gym we vs Cobden 2 and beat them 51-6  i had a pretty good week

week 4s reflection

this week was a busy week we had the mini Olympics Matthew and I led china and we got 3 gold 1 silver and at the end NZ got 1st  and Brasil got 2nd  and France got  3rd we didn't get a medal but we did very well and on Friday we had a leadership camp only one boy went because all the others pulled out and there is 4 girls going  all the other days were just normal school days but yeah it was a really good week i got heaps done

The school teachers  speak french and also teach french in some parts of Belgium

how far i have come this year

This year I have achieved a lot  like getting better at my times tables and  math I've been doing good on my blog I've been posting  stuff and i done a little bit of work over the holidays if i was bored i goals i want achieve smash my 8 times tables I also want to make it into the west coast team for football  want to be ready for high school when i leave primary and i also want to know what im doing in year 9 .

On Tuesday we had our 3rd challenge it was rafting  I was so pumped to get our gear from the shed and go rafting. We were at school on a Tuesday morning  when the   instructors  arrived we got all our gear into refftons truck eventually. Then we introduced ourselves  to the instructors then we played some games  and then got in the vans and headed to the shed and we got out of the vans and got to the shed  then we som more instructors one as called Simon and the was Toby. We got all ou gear on and checked everything like our helmets and life jackets then we went to our campsite. On the way to the campsite there were heaps of cows in the road  most of them were calfs they were cute    Then they got off the road and we kept carrying on we got to our destination finally and played some games and ate some food then we unloaded the rafts and done some more games their was a lot of competition between some people then we learned how to paddle back and forth and we learned some signals. Mr. Macaulay put his kayak in the water then we put our raft in the water  and the other raft got put in the water then were off into the  rapids we went over some pretty scary and high Rapids we hit rocks it was heaps of fun then we got to our campsite and we got out of the rafts then we did like a swimming drill in a position called the white water float position it helps avoid rocks. It was real cold after that we got the rafts up onto the shore and got changed  into warm dry gear and then set the tents up we did it eventually and mr .mcauley got a fire going then we ate and played games made our own dinner we made nachos Reuben,George,Jayden and I. then we played spot lite and then we ate some lollies and stuff and had a talk around the camp fire then we went into our tent  and ate more lollies then we were laughing at nothing. We got to sleep eventually after the sugar we had  then we woke up every hour of the night thinking it was the morning and we scared the girls me and Jayden then we back to our tent eventually it was morning an we got the rafts in the water and went to the rapids straight away then we saw a  haunted house it was pretty scary we finally got to the end of the trip then Hannah reed and Alyssa  jumped into the freezing cold water to get to the end man that was the best experience I've in a long time cant for skiing bring on the next challenge.

I hope the golden state warriors win the championship I want to play basketball for GSW or OKC when I'm older or soccer go GSW Steph curry who's a fan ME

this weeks reflect

I was siked to start this week with a positive start I started getting into the run again iv,e been coming 3rd 4th 2nd or 1st I've been doing better at my maths I'm nailing the Yoda tables at the moment I'm doing my sevens I needed to get two more to finish the whole thing. we've been doing  debating we won the last one was so much fun in the crossfire the crossfire is when two people argue until the time is up we've also got a basketball game vs karoro and it's going to be super hard I've had a pretty good week at school.

this is the gorilla that got shot for this

2 days ago a 4yearold falls into a gorilla enclosure and the gorilla seemed like it was protecting the child the people above the enclosure were screaming at the gorilla then the gorilla  dragged the child around the mote then the mom screamed at the gorilla once more and the gorilla must of got angry an dragged the kid around more then the zoo keepers would of came and shot the gorilla dead.but i think the gorilla did a better job of looking after the child than the parents.

4j's run

Today when we did the four j's run our teacher Mr s-W said run as far as you can go.The four jays run is a part of the cycle trail it's length is 2.6 km we do it every day apart from Friday. so Mrs-w friend made it to the summit of mount Everest and that inspired me to go faster because imagine being up 8km above sea level you could barely breathe and we just do 2km on the ground so i thought ill try my hardest so I did and no one else did the full run only 4 0f us did the full one I think some people did the half run because they didn't listen so that's what I think.I thought really good after the run I wanted to make Mrs-w proud of me and I think he was so I have achieved my goal for the year and I am proud of myself that's all that matters anyway.
